With more than twenty years of experience as a leading make-up artist for the fashion and advertising industries, Geoffrey has an eye for the latest trends in beauty as well as a keen sense of understanding the individual needs of his clients. His instinctive touch, distinctive approach to beauty and vast knowledge of make-up artistry allow Geoffrey to prove himself as an extremely rare talent.
A native Angeleno – Geoffrey moved to NY in 1994 where he met and apprenticed internationally renowned make-up artist Vincent Longo. A move to London in 1997 as the Global artist for Vincent Longo Cosmetics would become Geoffrey’s launching pad for being recognized by top beauty industry insiders as an authority in beauty and beauty education. In the spring of 2000, he redirected his focus toward editorial, fashion and advertising industries, working with high profile celebrity and multiple print magazine clients.
Returning to the US in 2001 Geoffrey’s work has expanded into a variety of different media including television commercials, music videos, film and a rapidly growing client list of influential editors and celebrities that include Anna Wintour, Emma Watson, Victoria Beckham, Mary Steenburgen, Becki Newton, Padma Lakshmi, Connie Britton, Gabrielle Reece, Blake Lively and Emma Roberts.
Geoffrey’s work has also encompassed several print and commerical ads for American Express, Anne Cole, AT&T, Auberge Resorts, Puma, Smashbox Cosmetics, Toyota and Verizon and his work has been published in numerous prestigious magazines including Vogue, Teen Vogue, Elle, Marie Claire and Harper's Bazaar in collaboration with many sought after photographers including Amanda Marsalis, Cheyenne Ellis, Diana Koenigsberg, Francois Halard, Jonathan Becker, Melvyn Sokolski, Norman Jean Roy, Steven Lippman.
As well, Geoffrey has been the lead make-up artist for several fashion shows in New York and Los Angeles, including Smashbox Fashion Week LA, Teen Vogue's Annual Young Hollywood Event, The Art of Elyisium, Imitation of Christ, Gregory Parkinson, Jenni Kayne and most recently worked with director Gia Coppola on a short film for the launch of the collaboration of Diane Von Furstenberg/Current Elliot.
